Saturday notes...

This blog is becoming more daily but without a real direction, I must admit I am learning new ways of seeing and have not embarked on anything more ambitious.  No, I don't have a foot fetish...the owner of the boots was up on the ladder outside our second storey window.  It caught my eye because it was a chance to use my 70-300mm lens again.  Likewise, the glasses.  The same lens was used for the seascape, my most often photographed view.  I believe the only way I will ever shoot that view  adequately and to do it justice is to make a stitched panorama (several images stitched together in photoshop).  Haven't gotten there yet...be patient.  Meanwhile I just had to get a sample of what I was seeing today, the vast expanse of sky with unusual cloud formations and most subtle gradation from blue sky to grey ocean and horizon.  I hope you can appreciate that it wasn't even a quarter of the view...
