I am still reeling from the effect of my new iPhone on my shooting, what with superwide and macro shots now accessible and the freedom of going about daily with little more than a bulge in my pocket which yet allows me to take photos besides the myriad other tasks and diversions. Still, there is a nagging feeling that iPhone photography is not "real" photography. And so I hit the road today for the first time in over a month to shoot landscapes etc, packing my Canon 30D and in the company of a fellow-shooter. These are the results. There are many instances here where I would have been unable to shoot with the iPhone, strong morning backlight and some distant landscapes being two deterrents. I enjoyed getting the DSLR back in action and working alongside a friend to capture some memorable shots. Thanks for sticking with me on this photo journey.
