The Waiting Game

Impatient as I am, there's a growing boldness I see in myself to kill time with my camera.  It balances a creative, productive activity, which takes the strain off of waiting with an impromptu "intervention".  My impatience today, waiting for my pieces of cut glass, wasn't even given a chance to bloom.  The entire lumber yard/warehouse really just seemed to shine for me as I took in textures, patterns and their definition in light and shadow.  Who says shopping isn't fun? - This post is dedicated to my Puerto Rican friends, who have shared their love of the industrial aesthetic over the past 6 years in a quietly poetic, "production-mode" sort of way...
